Amber Willis PhD, LMFT – Clinical Director

Dr. Amber Willis is the Clinical Director of Feller Behavioral Health. She received her PhD from The University of Georgia.  She is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 20 years of clinical experience conducting individual, couple and family therapy.  She values a strengths-based approach and specializes in working with victims of trauma and child/adolescent issues.  Amber has significant experience working with major depression, severe anxiety, bipolar and related disorders, posttraumatic stress disorder, mild to moderate psychosis and personality disorders. She has worked as an instructor at Argosy University in the master’s Marriage and Family Therapy Program and presented at various local and national professional conferences on collaborative therapy approaches with children and families. Amber is an approved supervisor through the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy.

Therapeutic modalities: Lifespan Integration, DBT, Trauma-Focused CBT, Gottman Relationship Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, EMDR and various play therapies.
